Ozone is a powerful oxidant and bactericide and is sometimes called “activated oxygen”, or “triatomic oxygen”, contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms we normal-ly breathe.
UV ozone is an effective method for eliminat-ing unpleasant odors in garbage/sewage treatment rooms, grease and oil mist in cooking processing areas and other areas where odor is a problem.
However in cases where a lot of smoke and oil mist is generated during the cooking process the use of an electrostatic air cleaner is recommended.
